The following are reviews from patients of Dr. Oros.
“I've always had an excellent experience each time being the office.”
– Judy B.
“Dr. Oros was very compassionate, very professional and very caring. He did a double hip replacement for me on March 23rd. I was in pain 24/7 for a year and a half when he did this surgery. I am out of pain and back to my normal everyday activities. He is a great surgeon.”
– Janice B.
“Dr. Oros gave my mother a shot in the hip. She had barely been able to walk, but afterward, she is out of pain and walking much more stable. She is 89 and I was very concerned about her falling. Very happy to have found Dr. Oros.”
– William O.
“He is the best!”
– Janice W.
“Excellent information and inspires confidence and trust. Knowledgeable and shares knowledge in an understandable manner. Thank you, Dr. Oros, for your positive attitude and guidance through patient medical issues.”
– Mary T.
“I fell out of my attic and broke my back and foot. Dr. Oros operated on my back. Installed a rod from my l5 to t12 vertebrae. Just two years later, I am living a completely normal life, teaching yoga. I am living pain-free due to the care providing to me by Dr. Oros and Dr. Seaworth. I will be forever grateful to them and the staff at University Orthopaedic Surgeons.”
– Debbie P.
“Dr. Oros is always professional and treated me with the utmost respect. Got a great result so was extremely happy.”
– Patsy C.
“I had a total hip replacement one year ago with success. I credit this to my surgeon and his team. Dr. Oros was professional, yet with a demeanor of kindness, respect, and concern. He took the time to answer questions to my understanding. He was patient as I considered the challenge of surgery to resolve my issue. Having never had any major surgery before my hip, I was anxious. The physician was cautious to monitor my health at the time, and the operation was planned for an optimal time for me. I had experienced chronic and increasing pain before the surgery, with less and less relief from medications and therapy. I was dependent on using a walker before surgery. Having to compensate with the right leg and hip as best I could, I was beginning to have additional problems with the "good hip," fatigue and aching shoulders and back from using the walker. It was time to do something. However, this was no easy decision, and surgery always comes with some risk. There was good post-surgery care, minimizing the likelihood of infection. I had a stay in skilled nursing for which I am grateful. Adherence to physical therapy recommendations is critical. My mobility is back. I am sleeping well and rarely take anything for arthritic pain. I feel abundantly blessed with a new lease on life.”
– Nola R.
“Dr. Oros was very knowledgeable about my condition and proceeded to treat it promptly.”
– Donald S.
“I met Dr. Oros when I arrived @ UT hospital following a car wreck in Charleston SC. I feel that he was extremely knowledgeable and caring. I feel that I could not have asked for better treatment, and I continue to be grateful to him in his aid to my recovery.”
– Jennie P.
– Michael W.
“This man saved me from the most agonizing pain I’ve ever been in! My hip has never felt better and I could not be more grateful for this man! He did not try to brush me off and send me home with narcotics, instead he listened, gave me non narcotics which I asked for and fixed the problem quickly through surgery. His bedside manner was incredible and overall I was completely happy with my care! I was back to work just over a month after a major surgery and feel fantastic one year post op! Thank you for giving me my mobility back!!!”
– Cheryl H.
“I had my right hip replaced. From the moment I met Dr. Oros I knew and trusted that he would provide the best service AND he did! He is exceptionally personal and professional. No pressure, just presented the facts and guided me through the decision process. I knew what the procedure would be and what was expected of me prior to and following surgery. I had no issues at any time. I give him my highest recommendation.”
– William S.
“Dr. Oros is not only a first rate professional but a kind and caring doctor. He has a very calming personality and puts his patients at ease.”
– Billy B.
“Dr. Oros performed a total right hip replacement. My hip was severe and I feared I waited to long. Post Op I feel like a new person as I have not been able to walk pain free in over a year. Dr. Oros bedside manner in the hospital was personable and kind. I have a very very very low tolerance for pain, and I feel he got this and did not feel the need to push me out overnight, but understood each patient and not treated all hip replacement patients the same. It felt personalized from Dr. Oros. That extra day made a huge difference in my recovery process (which is going very well). I thank you Dr. Oros for making a huge difference in my day to day quality of life.”
