“A much-needed experience with a professional who diagnosed the problem immediately, although he had materials available. I received a cortisone shot that lasted some time, indicating that surgery would not be the most advantageous recovery-wise due to my age. I also saw a well-known chiropractor while in FL who works with Miami Dolphin and FL Panthers players, who strongly said no surgery. He knows a couple of women who had left ankle surgery several months ago and have yet to walk, not because of the surgery, but because of their age. 50-60 years old people would recover nicely - but not 80+ aged folks.
