“I suffered from nasty pain in my left knee, which grew worse over the years. One doctor treated it with topical ointment. The next doctor performed arthroscopic surgery. Neither did any good, and my pain and disability grew. Last fall, on the recommendation of a friend, I made an appointment to see Dr. Stephen Hunt. He tested the range of motion and strength of my knees and x-rayed them. He showed me that the left knee was actually in better condition than the right one, leading him to believe that the problem stemmed from my left hip. I argued that it was my knee that hurt, not the hip. He said that pain follows different routes, and proceeded to x-ray both hips. There it was, clear even to me ,that he was correct. He was the only physician I went to who had the intellect, training, and experience to find the real source of my "knee" problem. Dr. Hunt surgically inserted my new hip. In January, the knee pain was gone, and I am grateful to have my life returned to me by this fine physician.”

“Once the correct diagnosis was made, Dr. Hunt was recommended to me by a friend due to his experience with hips. After a round of physical therapy that did not correct or helps the situation, Dr. Hunt felt the only option was surgery. I had surgery April 5th to repair and reattach the hamstring. The operation and recovery was nothing short of a complete success. In July I went on a trip to Europe and was able to complete every walking tour offered and on one particular day walked 22,000 steps. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Hunt for allowing me to enjoy life once again and be able to plan future activities and travel. Dr. Hunt's Physician Assistant, Gary, is also very knowledgeable, personable and professional. The nurses and office staff are welcoming and professional. The P.A., Gary was excellent when explaining the procedure and what to expect prior and after the surgery, but also literally going out of his way to deliver a written prescription on Thanksgiving eve. I had a SLAP tear and Dr. Hunt performed surgery about 3 weeks ago. The staff at the surgery center was also very helpful and made sure I was comfortable and not in pain at all times! Dr. Hunt called the night after the procedure to check up on me and once again the P.A., Gary was very thorough going over everything on the day of my follow up. Everything is been great thus far, going on my third week of recovery.”
