The following are reviews from patients of Dr. Dwyer.
“I saw Dr. Dwyer on an emergent basis recently and could not have been more pleased with the treatment I received. Dr. Dwyer was very compassionate and caring in his handling of my injury. He was very understanding of the pain I was experiencing and worked with me to resolve my issue. Dr. Dwyer, as a representative of your practice, is wonderful as a doctor, and even better as a human being. He is truly a credit to your practice.”

“I had a great experience from day one to recovery. All if Marlton office staff were exceptionally trained well. They were friendly, clear on communication and most importantly were on time during my visit. Thank you so much creating one of the best patient experience for me. I will definitely recommend both dr Dywer and his exceptional staffs”

“For many months I struggled with sleepless nights due to throbbing pain/numbness/weakness in my right hand. I was frustrated that I could no longer perform my daily activities without discomfort, let alone extracurricular activities I once enjoyed. Dr. Dwyer understood how devastating/humbling this condition was for me. He assured me I would be back to my old self after having the carpal tunnel release procedure. My surgery got scheduled for a Friday morning, and I was well enough to return to work on Tuesday! There was minimal discomfort, and the incision is tiny. After five weeks, I was back on my rowing machine and lifting weights. I am sleeping through the night and enjoying life again. I am happy with my experience and would recommend Dr. Dwyer to anyone with a hand injury. Not only is he a highly skilled surgeon, but he is also very kind and compassionate.”
– Denise I.
“Listen to me patiently and provided the correct help that I required.”
– Mike L.
“Dr. Dwyer listened to me, and he was open with me in return. All of the staff was professional and courteous. My pain was managed just right, not too little or too much pain med. There was a caring follow-up after surgery. Dr. Dwyer and the other professionals I saw and spoke with all answered my questions about recovery and physical therapy. None of the appointments felt rushed. The staff at the surgical center were also excellent. I realize this is a surgery they probably do very often and may be routine to them, but no surgery is routine to me. I feel that I received excellent, personalized care. Oh, and the scars are barely visible today. I would highly recommend Dr. Dwyer for anyone with the same or similar issues - De Quervains both wrists and trigger finger left hand.”
– Lorraine G.
“A fantastic experience I was back to work in 2 weeks where others had told me it would take longer. Such a courteous and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend”
– Hector R.
“In the last few visits, I’ve seen Dr. Dwyer, Dr. Greenleaf, and Dr. Ropiak. I’ve been treated with the utmost respect and “listened” to. None of the doctors were in a hurry to be rid of me; they all answered questions, and made health suggestions to help with the pain I’m in. I sincerely do appreciate this medical facility and the doctors that readily attend to me. Thank you so very much for all your guidance and helping me through this time in my life.”
– Betty L.

“I spent time (and pain) looking for a hand surgeon. Dr. Dwyer listened to me when I told him about my previous experiences and my desired outcome. He was open, professional and communicated clearly. I love the nursing staff at the surgical center. They were pleasant and kind and very professional. They gave me a sense of confidence and eased going into the surgeries. Best of all, the operations were successful, and I have regained function without pain. Thank you!”

– Melissa P.

– Patricia K.
“My son broke his thumb on Christmas Eve. I took him to Virtua urgent care that day. We were told to follow up with Reconstructive Orthopedics the following week. I called on Dec. 26th and was immediately given an appt. that week. (Yes, I was pleasantly surprised by the availability of appts!) Evan was scheduled with Dr. J. Dwyer on Dec. 28th. I am a Virtua nurse and have 4 children who have had numerous physician/urgent care/ER visits within the last several years. Evan and I did not have to wait to be "signed in" (I like the ipad) nor did we wait to see Dr. Dwyer. Dr. Dwyer was very professional, knowledgeable (explained everything to Evan), kind and caring! Evan had a cast placed which was done quickly & the technician (not sure of her title) was awesome. We followed up in 3 weeks with Dr. Dwyer (again no waiting, office staff was professional and courteous). The same technician removed Evan's cast (again friendly, kind & proficient). Evan was also seen by a physical therapist who offered suggestions on how to strenghten his hand. Overall, an excellent experience. Evan was seen a Rothman Institute for a broken toe two years prior...although we did not have an bad experience at Rothman....this experience was top notch...from making the appt. to the office staff to the physician....I would be happy to recommend this office & Dr. Dwyer to anyone needing this type of service! Thanks for making Evan feel well taken care of!”
– Evan C.
“My experience was very pleasant, I was taken right on time, and didn't wait very long after the nurse checked me in, before Dr. Dwyer and his staff came in, evaluated the on-going problem with my hand, and administeerd a shot to help with the pain. I have seem Dr. Dwyer on several other occasions and all of my visits have had positive relief from my hand pain. As in the past, with several other Drs. Schofet, Gutman and Dr. Sanfilippo, I continue to chose Reconstructive Orthopaedics for my needs and referred several neighbors who have had similar good experience at the offices.”
– Mary F.
“This is my first surgery with Dr. Dwyer. I had excellent care from Dr. Dwyer and the entire staff. I've had a few operations at this facility and have had nothing but excellent care from the Drs. Anesthetists. Surgical team and especially the nursing staff. I have more surgeries to go, and I look forward to seeing the same faces each time. The nursing staff is always excellent, and they always put my mind at ease and treat me exceptionally well.”
– Andy O.
“Dr. Dwyer was professional, caring and helped with the discomfort I was having with my right thumb.”
– Carolyn L.
“I fell on the ice and broke my wrist back in March. Told the doctor I didn't want a cast, so he gave me a bulky duty brace to wear around the clock for five weeks. Went back for a checkup and all healed nicely! Dr. Dwyer and staff were great!”
– Sue F.
“Great. The staff fit me into the schedule after I had an out of town emergency that required sutures. Dr. Dwyer put me at ease with follow up and questions I had. Cindy the PA was great after I had a minor issue after suture removal. Thank you.”
– Christine C.
“Great experience with Dr. Dwyer. He is caring, thorough and highly skilled.”
– Donna Y.
“Unfortunately, I've been treated at for injuries three times in the last five years. All three times have been at Reconstructive Orthopedics and all three times have been great. Whether I was using my insurance or worker's compensation for everything went smoothly. The office staff is accommodating, and that's important when you're dealing with disability, worker's comp, etc. Their doctors and PAs are friendly, polite and above all, competent. I had an overall great experience here every time.”
– Gregory H.
“Dr. Dwyer is professional and friendly. He is a very good Doctor and has a great bedside manner.”
– Lois B.
“I really can't say enough nice things about Dr. Dwyer. I fell doing yard work and shattered my wrist and came to him for the required surgery. During my first visit with him he informed me what I was up against, what he would need to do to repair it, how long the procedure itself would be and how I would need Physical Therapy after that. The surgery went well and I have had two follow-up appointments with him so far. Dr. Dwyer is not only a gifted surgeon but he truly cares about his patients and it's quite obvious. I highly recommend him!”
– Anne R.
“My wrist has healed nicely. Dr. Dwyer and the entire staff were excellent!!”
– Sue F.
“Dr. Dwyer was friendly listen to my problem made suggestions and went the route we both felt best for my hand. The staff was just as friendly and didn't wait long at all.”
– Bob S.
