Jonathon O Printz M.D.
The following are reviews from patients of Dr. Printz.
“My appointment went longer than expected, and I was the last patient in the office. Dr. Printz took his time with me and answered all my questions without seeming rushed. I was impressed that both he and Ray had to take x-rays of me after beginning his shutdown procedures went out of their way and stayed late for me. I won't forget their kindness.”
– Debbie G.

“I’m sending this on behalf of mom, who recently passed. Mom had a fall and sustained a severe wrist break. Due to mom’s age and health condition along with COVID, Dr. Printz would not do surgery. He has an excellent bedside manner meaning he was honest but compassionate. I appreciated how he handled mom’s situation, as I believe he truly was looking out for her best interest.”
– Marion S.
“I always have a positive experience with Dr. Printz.”
– Alyna R.
“Dr. Printz is very knowledgeable as well as empathetic. He repaired my rotator cuff tear April if this year. I am so very pleased with the result. I finally have full use of my arm again! I am now trusting him to replace my knee with a new customized product called “Visionaire”. Dr. Printz took the time to bring a kit out to demonstrate exactly how the Visionaire system will be used on me.”
– Kathlern M.
“Dr. Printz, I felt good with him, he explained things as I was going along, the surgery went well, and I am slowly improving, taking a little longer than doc said but getting improvement, hope someday day to be 100% back. Thanks, Doc.”
– David G.
“I had to come for a second opinion because the previous doctor wasn’t listening to me, and his body language spoke volumes. I felt Dr. Printz took the proper time to listen and order the correct tests in order not to be sent back to work unhealed to a very physically demanding job. I was amazed that the staff still remembered me being there from years ago when I saw Dr. Trevino. They also recognized my daughter in 2004. Long-standing staff is a good sign. (Including Ray!) Thanks for letting me have my say!”
– Donna W.
“Very patient and friendly. Always seems to takes time and answers all your questions.”
– Robyn G.
“I was amazed to find out that my knee pain was really arising from faulty hips. Didn't make sense at first but eventually understood the process. Other than having to be at the hospital at 5:00 a.m. the first surgery went so well there was no hesitation to repair the other side. Post-operative, there were ice packs and Tylenol to cover pain. Second surgery went as well. I am feeling quite well although the temperatures have forced me to stay indoors. To add to that, my sister's husband passed away, two days later an ex-sister-in-law died, and three weeks later, my sister's half of twin girls died of colon cancer. It was a lot to handle in a short time but am resuming my pool activities and exercises. I have copied the Olympic male gymnasts' rings and bringing legs up to form an L. Still use the walker, but do get to where I am going faster. Will get tired of hauling it around. So am doing well and thank you for your expertise.”
– Nancy R.
“I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and finding providers who are willing to comprehensively and creatively address the complex nature of this disease is challenging. I feel that Dr. Printz respects me as the leader of my health care team, provides a variety of treatment options, and takes into consideration the other diagnoses I have. I have recommended Aspen Orthopedic Specialists and Dr. Printz to others.”
– Kristina B.
“He's just the best, with one visit for each problem that is all it takes. I very, very happy he is taking care of me like no other!”
– Paul Y.
“My experience was WOW! I was in California on vacation last year and my trigger finger locked up completely. Never before had this happened? I am a court reporter (38 years and not ready to retire) and desperately needed to do something as soon as I returned home. The very day I landed, I called the doctor's office who diagnosed my carpal tunnel some years ago. He since retired, but Dr. Printz was the doctor I got directed to instead. How fortunate I was that I could come in that day and have it looked at. Dr. Printz and I had a good conversation about options, and I chose an injection instead of surgery. He was accommodating and spoke to me. It was that morning that I called in sick, unable to make a record on my stenograph machine, but with Dr. Printz's injection of cortisone I was able to use my finger again that night, and I was back working the next day. It has now been over a year, and my finger has been functioning normally. I have been able to continue my work as a court reporter without any difficulty. I am most grateful to have received such quick and successful medical care. Thank you, Dr. Printz and Aspen Orthopedic Specialists!”

“Dr. Printz saved my life with his thorough care. Because of his attention to detail and his follow through, my back pain ended up getting diagnosed as stage 4 adenocarcinoma of the tail of the pancreas with multiple myeloma son all four lives of my liver. Today after only seven rounds of chemo, my pancreatic tumor is mostly gone, and my liver tumors reduced over 80%. Thank you, Dr. Printz- without your diligence, I might not be alive today.”
– Tricia C.
“Dr. Printz quickly diagnosed my problem and presented me with my options. He spent time explaining what was involved in the anterior hip replacement.”
– Steven P.
