“Dr. Dundon was thorough and empathetic at my initial appointment. He explained the procedure I needed to alleviate my pain and increase my mobility. He answered my many questions and described the total knee replacement, the hospital experience, the pre-operative exercises I should do, and what to expect during recovery, including the use of various pain medications to manage discomfort. He was reassuring before surgery in the hospital and gave the good news of a successful surgery to my husband via telephone. I left the hospital the same day after working with the hospital’s PT, who showed me how to walk up and down stairs and safely use a cane/ walker upon arriving home. Seventeen days after my total knee replacement, Dr. Dundon cleared me to drive and resume normal activities while continuing PT to achieve optimal flexibility. My therapist was amazed at my strength, balance, and flexibility at my initial PT evaluation. I attribute my exceptional recovery to Dr. Dundon’s superior skill, patience, kindness, and thoughtful manner. I’m already planning my next knee replacement procedure with this excellent surgeon. He’s wonderful.”
