“The exam and visit with Dr. Routhier was excellent. I only wish that I would have been able to see her sooner so that I could have continued cycling sooner.
Thank you”

“Dr. Routhier is the one who attended my Achilles tendon. She is an EXCELLENT physician!!”
– Michael G.
“Dr. Routhier is always caring and sweet. I went in for an injection (shot) for my hip, she's given me the injection two other times. She does a great job every time. Dr. Routhier and her staff always make me feel comfortable. Also she is a professional which is hard to find these days.”
– Maryann C.
“Dr. Routhier was very personable and took the time to answer all of my questions.”
– Karen G.
“Dr. Routhier is a great physician. She listens, she explains well --- she does not rush --- she rocks, not to mention her sense of humor which also rates five stars! My experience with trying to get a prescription filled through the staff was not quite as stellar -- not only non-responsive but kind of like a fortress.”
– Ellen H.
“Dr. Routhier is fantastic. She is precise, accurate and took the pain away for me.”
– Murphy M.
“I have seen Dr. Routhier a couple of times, most recently for an issue with my right foot. She had an x-ray is taken but to finalize conclusion, it would require an MRI. Due to the cost of MRI, she gave me other options for me to review and the first one was a steroid injection which did result in the swelling be reduced promptly. After my second visit, we concluded it was a tendon issue, and physical therapy was warranted so went to PT for six weeks at Slocum Center for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. Had great PT named Camille, who taught me exercises to strengthen the tendon and after six weeks feeling much better and am now walking for exercise which I couldn't do before and have returned to yoga. Overall, my experience was excellent at Slocum Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine as it has been in the past. I recommend Slocum Center for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine to anyone having knee, ankle, or shoulder problems as they are the best in Eugene/Springfield.”
– Louis L.

“I had an amazing experience. I had two injections one in each knee and it was actually not as painful as I thought it was going to be. Dr. Routhier was very nice and informative on every step she was performing and how I was to take care of my knees. I would surely recommend anyone that is in need of any orthopedic needs. Thank you, Dr. Routhier.”
– Patty S.
“I was very impressed and happy with the prompt care that was given by Dr. Routhier.”
– Jan S.
“Dr. Routhier is a very kind caring Doctor. She listens first, then give you her ideas on the problem. She has never made me feel like I was a number and don't know anything. She has given me options on what she wants to do, and then asks if that sounds ok to do before she does it.”
– Vicki L.

“Every staff member encountered from check-in to check-out were guilty of being the friendliest, most understanding, and caring group of health providers around. In the years since becoming Disabled, I have broken and healed too many bones to list, and spent a decade on opiate medication. Getting off of them was extemely difficult. Explaining resulting tolerance issues and sharing what medications actually work is often misunderstood and patients are looked upon as addicts and treated poorly, or their input is outright ignored. Dr. Ruthier is a considerate and knowledgeable healer, whose reassuring demeanor calms rather than agsaperates those who are already hurt, in pain, and irritable. She accurately assessed and expertly devised a plan that was perfect for my unique situation. Dr. Ruthier's ability to describe the problem and solution in terms I could understand is priceless and much appreciated. It was pleasure to be treated so respectfully and I hope the best for Dr. Ruthier and every one else on the staff at Slocum. Truly, thank you.”
