David J. Weatherby MD
Trauma, Upper Extremity
The following are reviews from patients of Dr. Weatherby.
“I was pleased with the Orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Weatherby. I met Dr. Weatherby because I broke my Tibial Plateau. I was not feeling very well! I got taken to PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend, and that is where my husband (John) and I met Dr. Weatherby. We are from California and were not familiar with this hospital. We instantly liked Dr. Weatherby. He is friendly and has a great sense of humor! He also is a rock-star Orthopaedic surgeon! I also met the anesthesiologist whose name escapes me, but he comforted me minutes before surgery. The surgery went well, and after a few days of recovery, I got transferred to Avamere Rehabilitation of Eugene. I met Dr. Weatherby again two weeks post-surgery for follow up and X-rays. The following day, John and I drove home to California. I had a six week follow up on April 28 with Dr. Gardner at Stanford. X-rays showed everything aligned and healing well. I will see Dr. Gardner on June 6 for another follow-up and another set of X-rays. It’s been nine weeks since my accident. PT is going well! Last week I graduated to crutches from the walker, and it feels so great to stand upright! My sincere Thanks to Dr. Weatherby, the anesthesiologist, and the hospital staff.”

“Dr. Weatherby was friendly, professional, and he listened carefully to what I had to say about my condition. I never felt that he got rushed but that he spent all the necessary time with me to assure I was getting the very best treatment.”
