“I had a total hip replacement one year ago with success. I credit this to my surgeon and his team. Dr. Oros was professional, yet with a demeanor of kindness, respect, and concern. He took the time to answer questions to my understanding. He was patient as I considered the challenge of surgery to resolve my issue. Having never had any major surgery before my hip, I was anxious. The physician was cautious to monitor my health at the time, and the operation was planned for an optimal time for me. I had experienced chronic and increasing pain before the surgery, with less and less relief from medications and therapy. I was dependent on using a walker before surgery. Having to compensate with the right leg and hip as best I could, I was beginning to have additional problems with the "good hip," fatigue and aching shoulders and back from using the walker. It was time to do something. However, this was no easy decision, and surgery always comes with some risk. There was good post-surgery care, minimizing the likelihood of infection. I had a stay in skilled nursing for which I am grateful. Adherence to physical therapy recommendations is critical. My mobility is back. I am sleeping well and rarely take anything for arthritic pain. I feel abundantly blessed with a new lease on life.”

“This man saved me from the most agonizing pain I’ve ever been in! My hip has never felt better and I could not be more grateful for this man! He did not try to brush me off and send me home with narcotics, instead he listened, gave me non narcotics which I asked for and fixed the problem quickly through surgery. His bedside manner was incredible and overall I was completely happy with my care! I was back to work just over a month after a major surgery and feel fantastic one year post op!
