Patient Reviews
The following are reviews from patients of Dr. Czajka.
“Dr Czajika explained the nature of the injury very well and what I could do to deal with it.”
– James F.
“Dr. Czajka is certainly an entertaining and colorful physician, and in my opinion, an excellent doctor. Not only did he ask many questions to ascertain my present back pain condition, but upon looking at my x-rays, he discovered that I had another health problem - an abdominal aneurysm - that needed to be evaluated. He promptly notified my primary physician. That, to me, is a doctor who is observant, careful, and not just confined to his specialized field. I believe him to a kind, compassionate doctor.”
– Julianne M.
“Dr. Czajka was very good at explaining what was important and, in spite of my hip being real bad with bone spurs and wear, got a Birmingham hip resurface in there. I was off pain meds in less than a week. It's been three weeks since surgery and still good with doing the PT to get blood flow going.”
– Rob B.
“I have been seeing Dr. John Czajka for over 12 years. Having arthroscopic surgery at the Bone & Joint Center was an unbelievable experience : courteous, caring medical personnel taking care of me from the time I walked in the door. My surgery was right on schedule and I had the privilege of enjoying Dr. Czajka's wit, asking if I wanted to watch TV. Silly me, thought he meant watching a game show or soap, not watching my surgery. I was extremely impressed of every aspect of my surgery.”
– Janet M.
“Certainly straightforward.”
– Barbara G.
“I brought my 95 yr old Mother to see Dr John Czajka for her broken wrist from a fall... He was so gentle and kind to her... knowing she has Dementia... The Nurses and staff were equally kind and caring... I would recommend them to anyone....”
– Marsha O.
“I saw Dr Czajka for my knee surgery. He his a wonderful caring surgeon. My experience with the staff at Bone & Joint center
has been excellent. they all know their jobs and do it very well. I have had other surgeries performed by the surgeons at Bone & Joint
specifically Dr. Chenney for my back, and Dr Quinn for my shoulder. I have to say this is the best orthopedic practice anywhere. I highly recommend this practice to everyone.”
– John R.
“I found Dr. Czajka to be very personable, engaging and thorough in his evaluation of my condition and in his explanation of the need for hip replacement surgery and what I could expect if I choose to undergo this procedure. I haven't fully decided if I am ready and my work schedule is a concern at present but Dr. Czajka was very accommodating in scheduling this for a time when I am between consulting engagements.”
– Thomas H.
“From start to finish all Doctor's, Nurses and reception were friendly, professional and informative. The entire time I felt at ease knowing I was in the care of a caring and professional staff.”
– Joseph C.
“I slipped and fell and hurt my wrist today and within two hours of my arrival at The Bone & Joint Center Dr. John Czajka had me all set. There is no way I would ever go to any other orthopedist other than Dr. John Czajka if he is available. The staff from the people that greeted me to the people that took the x-ray to the one who made this cast to the medical assistant to Dr. John Czajka. I love this place I love Dr. Czajka.”
– David S.

“This was my first time at The Bone & Joint Center, and I was delighted with the whole experience. I felt that Dr. Czajka was knowledge, honest and very helpful. I think he has my best interest in mind and I trust his opinion. I recommend that if you have an issue, but you are reluctant to see someone, give The Bone & Joint Center a try; I am confident you will have a positive experience.”

“The doctor treated me in a friendly respectful way. He listened carefully to all the information I provided. He showed concern. He provided me with, what turned out to be, excellent treatment and by evening I could see noticeable Improvement. I felt confidence in this doctor, and he requested a follow up in a short period. It was a very positive experience in all aspects.”

“Dr. Czajka is terrific, he has helped me several times over the years. This last time, a shot was given to my shoulder, and they said it would take about 2 weeks to eliminate the pain. The pain did diminish for the next week or so, then remained at a low lever for a few more weeks.”

“I'm a legacy patient of MD Czajka. My first encounter with MD Czajka was in the summer of 69 when he aspirated my knee with the largest syringe I've seen. I had the benefit of his expertise and advice since. He's direct and gives pertinent advice while explaining one's situation and all the options in detail.”
– Mark T.
“I have only words or praise and thanks for the Bone and Joint Center and Dr. John Czajka. From my first appointment to the last the staff has been courteous, compassionate, and professional. Dr. Czajka always took or made the time to fully answer all of my questions and to fully explain what was happening and what would happen on his part. I had my surgery in July and by December was skiing. I was concerned because I am a profession adaptive ski instructor with people that are visually impaired or developmentally delayed. The knee that was replaced is actually stronger and has less discomfort than the other knee at the end of a day on the slopes. I am also a now retired Clergy and found kneeling was pain free within 2 months after my surgery. Thanks to Dr. Czajka and the entire staff at the Bone and Joint Center you have made it possible to continue with two of the passions in my life pain free!!!!”
– Alan K.
“Honest and straight forward.”
