“My first-ever surgery in my life, and Dr. Moffett surgery was full of amazing human beings, great nurses, and doctors. That supported me through my surgery to make me feel as comfortable as possible. I was terrified when I came out of the operation, mostly because of the pain and secondly because I could not recognize any of the faces. However, my nurse assures me she would help with the pain, and she did and brought in my boyfriend as soon as I asked for him. After that, I got sent home with my discharge paperwork. I thought my recovery time at home has been harrowing. I continue to be thankful for all the help and kindness I received at the surgery center. “I met Dr Moffett in the ER with 3 major ankle bones broken in half. He was very caring and had a wonderful bedside manner. It was a big plus that he was aware of my rare genetic syndrome, Ethlers-Danlos Syndrome. Further, he was flexable in working with my poor healing & my physical limitations due to EDS. He referred me to a wonderful PT he also was aware of the limitations of EDS. It took 9.5 months to completely heal & the ankle is strong now. I couldn't have experienced a nicer or more knowledgeable doctor.”
