I went to my first visit with an open mind. My experience with him and the reviews I read was spot on. Dr. Fu had incredible bedside manner and was extremely professional as well as funny. He educated me about my options of which I choose surgery. It has only been two weeks since surgery, and I already am feeling the benefits and more quality of life than being in a cast. “After breaking my wrist I, unfortunately, had the experience of being treated by three different care providers that were not positive experiences. One doctor did not listen; the second person made fun of the doctor that I had first seen and the third doctor was arrogant and insensitive telling me " it's not cancer it's just an inconvenience." Doctor Fu was a breath of fresh air in contrast to my previous experiences. He was warm, caring, he listened. He gave me comprehensive information in regards to what to expect in my upcoming Occupational Therapy. My experiences before seeing Doctor Fu had caused me a lot of anxiety and distress plus physical discomfort due to three poorly applied casts. When I left Doctor Fu's office, I felt happy and relieved to find an engaged and empathetic doctor finally. I later found out that a friend of mine had been to see Doctor Fu. She told me that she had also had a very positive meeting with Dr. Fu in contrast to another doctor who had caused her to leave the office in tears. The same doctor that had told me that "it's not cancer just an inconvenience." Dr. Fu is a genuine and kind person. I wish all doctors were like him. I am grateful to Amy Finkelstein for referring me to Doctor Fu and to Jared who finally gave me a proper cast.”
