“I saw Dr. Fleager for a fracture of my left fifth metacarpal, which was confirmed by x-ray. She said I could continue wearing the brace that was prescribed for me by me primary care doctor. When I returned a few weeks later, the x-ray revealed a complete healing of the fracture and no further therapy was needed. My experience with Dr. Fleager was very pleasant and I would recommend her to a friend having orthopedic hand issues.”

“My daughter, Samantha, 16 years old, broke her left wrist in a GHS basketball game on January 3, 2017. We were told to tape, ice and it was only sprained. I , being a nurse, questioned the diagnosis without a MD or x-ray. I called my pediatrician's office and got an appointment 6 days later due to pain and swelling. He ordered a stat x-ray which confirmed a broken scaphoid wrist bone. We got in to see Dr. Fleager the next day, thanks to Scott Fletcher, Sportscare trainer. She saw Sam and ordered a stat CT and told me to bring CD back ASAP. I did ,and she called me within 15 minutes. It was broken, bone had moved due to exercise and no splint, and she needed surgery tomorrow, January 11, 2017, because of 8 days of no treatment .We went to Baylor/ Scott &White Hospital in Grapevine and got the best of the best in anesthesia, nurses, and Dr. Fleager. We got the rug pulled from under our life, but God always has different ideas and direction sometimes. Swimming and using a waterproof cast fro District and Region kept her out of athlete depression and victim mode. I am so grateful for GHS swim team, Coach Jau, and the support of her swim team. the story continues with a WFAA interview and video of inspiration for athletes who are hurt and need pool time. Anthing is possible, if the mind and body want it .Dr Fleager is no nonsense, meticulous, smart, engaging and very athlete teenager relationship connecter.”
